New Video Highlights Project Thailand

Global Playground's Web site now features a new video produced by Julie Rios Little, an independent filmmaker who graciously serves as Global Playground's Film Coordinator. The video focuses on Project Thailand, and is co-narrated by herself and Doug Bunch, Global Playground's Chairman.

The 80-second video captures the beauty, both human and natural, of life in northern Thailand, as well as the great educational need that exists in the region.

Ms. Rios Little, who also created the video on Project Cambodia, has previously produced work for Georgetown University, Medicare, UNESCO, UNICEF, USAID, and the U.S. Department of State. She saw volunteering for Global Playground as an opportunity to "keep connected to those kinds of causes," now that she is working in video production full-time and not always producing projects of this nature.

Personally, Ms. Rios Little has found working for Global Playground to be rewarding, as her own children love to see how she edits the videos. In the process she says, "they get to learn about other kids around the world and the types of educational resources these children have access to."
